I also purchased two from someplace in Cali they are both still alive the one in the ground is just setting but, it's not yellowin etc. I also left one in a larger pot to see how it would do. It hasn't done anything either I think that they still have shipping stress. I'll never buy another bare root cycad again! I know that they will come back but, I'd rather pay extra for the head start and get them shipped in a pot! The seeds were a dismal failure I'll chalk it off to inexperience and a lack of time. I might try again when I don't have so many things going on.

Lol, well the one I got from Frank is growing great! It's working on it's third flush for the year. It didn't do much in it's pot so I set it out in early May and it's sending up it's second flush in the ground! I think that they get pot bound pretty easy or they like to get well established roots. It had two little bitty leaves and about a foot of coiled root in a 1 gallon pot!
