Coming home from seeing Tony at PDN,stopped by Home Depot. Found a "Toddy Date Palm" for $24. I know it really is more of zone 8 palm but with a one year guarantee and such a nice size. Itwas marked as a Windmill; I know it is not. I figured what the heck. Can anyone tell me more about the plant requirements? I am sure it will need winter protection but what else, sun or shade, dry or wet, etc. Anyone with some good links? I had no luck on google.
