I hadn't planned on putting any palms in the ground at this house as we hopefully will move soon, but I have so many potted plants now along with numerous backups. I received this one from e-Bay along with an identical one. I chose this one to sacrifice as it is not doing nearly as well. Both were very pale green when I received them with scattered brown spots. The other palm is growing fine, it's on it's 2nd spear since receiving in late February. They have both been inside until mid March or so, then outside since then, pulling them in ther garage when temps dipped below 40F. This palm in question hasn't pushed a new spear yet, and the one its pushing is half brown. Literally, 1 side of the spear is green, the other side is brown. I planted the other day with some Osmocote, epsom salts and a sip of fish emulsion.
