Thanks for shareing all of your knowledge and experience!
The Brahea hybrids you gave me last fall are starting to move now that they have overcome the shock of transplanting and with the warm weather. I have mine in full sun. This is definitely one of my favorite genera, I just wish they did better here. I'd like to see how Russell Adam's B. armata is doing out at his nursery. I'm tempted to buy a larger B. armata with character leaves to see if it does better than my seedlings. How large were you able to get your B. armatas before the "sudden death" phenomenon took them?
I also have about 6 two year old B. edulis seedlings in community pots. They are surviving but are very slow.
