Thanks for replying. Yes, two of the 3 Butia's are dead, brown fronds from the center. The last one is growing great. Windmills are doing great also. It's hit or miss down here, i guess. Being a "transplanted" New Yorker, the neighbors thought I was nuts planting Palm trees... Many people have Bananas here, they die and come back every season. Since my last post i have planted 2 more small windmills. **Is the any particular plant food for palms? Thanks, Jimmy
