Posted by Nannie Would it be best for her STGs to be broken down into each one focusing on a part of speech (noun + verb; noun + verb (past tense); article + noun +verb; article + noun + auxiliary verb + adj...etc.)? I want this to be natural for her, but, I feel like she needs to have the grammar directly taught to her so she can see the pattern. Any ideas from those who have been there? Any websites you know of that address this particular level of working with a device? I have seen many of the sites that are for early AAC learners, but she is past that now. Thanks in advance for your help/ideas!!

I work with a 4th grader and her Dynavox Dynamyte and have an IEP coming up soon. She navigates very well between screens/categories and is an early speller. She is ready to move from using a button for an entire message, to putting words together to create sentences. We have done some experimentation with this and she seems to pick it up quickly.
