I would recommened making the symbols on index cards. The boardmaker symbols for "Yes" is a big yellow smiley face and yes written on the bottom. "No" is a big red X with no written on the bottom. I am currently working with an autistic child on yes/no and I use the symbols with food and nonfood items. "Yes food" and "No food"
