My special education team and I try to have some special Autism Awareness activities for our building during the month of April. We have posters up providing knowledge to kids and staff. We have provided staff and kids alike with "sensory based" activities. We have provided staff with mini "workshops" on tips to utilize with kids on the psectrum. Do any of you have other ideas out there that you have enjoyed and want to share?
