I work with a 6 year old boy who has minor misarticulations, moderate to severe disfluency, but what's driving me crazy is how to treat his habit of speaking while inhaling. In the middle of a sentence, he'll run out of air, but doesn't miss a beat and keeps on talking as he draws the air in through his mouth. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
