I am thinking about getting a certificate too. We have an AT dept in our county program. However, the so-called AT evaluators do not have education backgrounds. They are both computer programmer/IT guys. I thought it was imperative that an SLP at least do the communication evals, so I volunteered to take them on. I know one of our guys did this program. It looks great to me! Good Luck!
