Hello--
I currently have two communication devices being used. I am using a nintendo dsi XL with the TaptoTalk program on them. The nintendo is very portable, the students don't stand out like a sore thumb carrying them, and it is sent home. You can use the program on an ipad, iphone, nintendo, or computer. You can download real pictures into the nintendo or just use the ones on the program. I had to sit down with my principal and the teacher and EMPHASIZE how important it is to use. Getting the teacher input is essential to them using it in the classroom. We have organized the system for the students to use in each class (special) as well as during morning meeting, etc.
What great improvement we're seeing with the students!!
