Hi, I'm new to AAC and not sure how to proceed with a student. This young man is apraxic and in a jr. high community training classroom. He is verbal, but can be difficult to understand. I've been asked to help with an AAC system, for when his message is unclear. I was thinking of creating a communication notebook that is context specific for his daily needs: shopping, personal information, social, restaurant, employment skill development...that sort of thing. Can anybody advise me about the best way to set up this notebook? I sure would appreciate your help!!
