Hello,
I have an austistic student student who also has Turner's sydrome. This syndrome apparently causes a very high palatal arch. The parents are concerned that this high arch could be causing artic. distortions. Her main distortion is /f/ for /th/, I cannot see any correlation. Her bigger problem is that she mumbles when she speaks. She appears to have a smaller than average mandible. Does anyone out there have any suggestions?
