Hi Dad of Heather.
It's been a while since you posted. Have some effective techniques developed since then?
It's been really frustrating for me to find ideas through web searches, and I have a background in the field as a Speech/Language Pathologist. I agree with meslp that I'd need some additional information before I would know where to start with my brainstorming of ideas for Heather.
Are you finding a receptive audience for your questions? Have the teachers come up with some non-verbal responses Heather can contribute? Are her classmates supportive? compassionate?
