I have three kids that all have a Tongue Thrust/Lisp that is obviously very hereditary trait from one of the Grandparents. The oldest does not seem to be as bad as the other two, but now in middle school occasionally gets corrected by teachers and friends. Very hard on the selfesteem. My other two are in Speech provided by the public school, but now the public schools want to end services saying that it is cosmetic and I am looking for perfection. Help? Anyone with any website or documents that will help me with my fight with the public schools to continue services?
