Friends of friends gave us a GoTalker 4. We used it at meal times with my 5 yr old boy Jacob (who has CP, among other challenges).
4 squares is very limited for an overlay(+ the 2 constant keys), even in a situation like what to eat next at dinner. But the big squares worked well for Jacob - he could use his whole fist on a key.
The best thing about this was how little pressure it requires to active the key. I could not detect Jacob moving his hand, yet he could fire off those keys in a constant stream. He had a lot of fun with this, repeatedly insisting on something - and then confirming what he had :-).
The one we have is very durable. It came from a family with 2 autistic boys that their mom says are very rough with things.
