I currently work in an elementary school and have 1 student in particular that has a tongue thrust. She has difficulty with /s/, /sh/, and /r/. When she is at rest during a speech session her tongue is forward and often sticking out of her mouth. I have targeted the tongue thrust in the past, but am running out of options. She is aware of the issue, but seems unaffected by it. Does anyone have any oral motor activities that will help before her mom takes her to the dentist.
