Hey! I am working with a DHH class at the high school level. We are working on all of the language skills required to pass the exit exam. They are having a lot of trouble understanding the abstract language components b/c abstract language isn't really used in ASL. I am also working on aural rehab. with a few of them (auditory only). For "WH" questions I am using an articulation book that has short passages, questions, and word lists in it. The students either repeat back the word I said, answer the question I asked, or paraphrase/answer questions about the passage I read. It's great because it works on comprehension and their speech. I hope that helps! Let me know if there is anything else I can do to help!
