These previous messages from "mimiwagg" and "jem" sound suspicioulsy like they were written by people from the Boardmaker company.
Our school system has been using both Boardmaker and Overboard. The vast majority of our staff prefer to use Overboard. We use Boardmaker for very young children or those that have been using PCS symbols and need consistency. In reality, more and more often we use clipart symbols from the internet (free), and not PCS or Overboard symbols. So it doesn't make sense to buy Boardmaker, because the only thing that it has that Overboard doesn't have, are the PCS symbols. Overboard is a much less expensive and there is NO charge for upgrading each year. According our staff members, it is just a much "nicer program to work with".
