Thank you for this information. I have to agree, after researching "tongue thrust" online, that many sites are stressing the need to get this issue fixed before having orthodontic work done, as they state it's the tongue's strength, while resting (& in speech& swallowing, that causes the damage.

I appreciate you sharing your research with people like me, parents concerned about a child's "speech" issues.
