I have a lot of parents/teachers ask me about it and this is the best resource I've found, outside of the actual PECS manual. I have attended the training...it really is a good training that helps you understand the premise behind PECS and exactly what protocol to follow depending on their responses to help them progress with their communication. I would highly recommend going to a workshop if you have the chance.
