Hello, I had a similar experience with a new child at my school. I did an oral peripheral exam and discovered gigantic tonsils (so large I bet I could not get a drinking straw between them). Mom got him in to an ENT and she said the ENT had never seen such big tonsils. They had them taken out immediately (it seems that he was also having some sleep apnea because of them) and low and behold, his back sounds came in immediately. It was amazing. It has only happened once in my 9 years in the schools but WOW!
