I have a kid who is 5, also fronting. I have been doing oral motor therapy but child is not really making progress. I have noticed that he cannot volitionally move tongue to the left. Will continue with whistles, but I like the idea of using straws because it encourages child to retract tongue. Will let u know of progress. Just to note, child is able to say initial cluster /kl/ (clown, cloud), trying to use that to encourage /k/ and/g/ production.
