Teaching /l/

Help... I can't get the /l/ sound in any position with my 2nd grade student. We have worked on positioning, holding at the alveolar ridge and breathing then turning on voice, pulling a "th" back and several other ideas ... my student CAN discriminate the difference between /l/ and /w/ 100%
