I have the same kid- same age! It's all errors on /k/, /g/, /s/, and /z/. Everything is at the front of the mouth so his lisp is outrageous on /s/ and /z/. I believe it is tongue thrust.... but the family is on medicaid and the Medicaid dentist denied an appliance. There are really no other options- they can't get a second opinion. I'd love to hear any suggestions on what to do.
