Yes, I made the referral during our initial visit. The child was seen by an orthodontist who decided to wait and see how much the problem resolves itself as the child grows.
The child's /s/ production was impacting his reading and writing development (i.e. spelling /s/ words as 'th') so I decided to target it.
Do you think that now that he is producing a lateral /s/, it's the best I am going to get?
