Hi, I have a four year old student who has a repaired cleft palate. I am not having any luck getting her to produce the k and g phonemes. She says /h/ for /k/ and /n/ for /g/. I cannot get her to correctly place the tongue for those. The back of the tongue does not go up. I have tried positioning her tongue using a tongue depressor...she is a motivated student and tries....I'm getting frustrated but thankfully so far she is willing to try. Thanks for any suggestions.
