Thank you a million times!! This is exactly what I thought. So good to be validated by you, Dawn. The CASL sort of drives me crazy as it is so auditory and can be lengthy when other subtests than the core are given. Just my opinion! 
I think I will purchase the OWLS-2, again good to know that a reliable source is using it. CELF-4....I used it quite often in the past when I worked in the schools and I have heard other people say that they avoid it because it qualifies everyone. Is there a particular reason you don't use it?
