I would show them different categories "these are all fruits," then name them; "these are all vegegables," then name them. I would then have the students sort and glue or place them in different baskets. Look on this website (speakingofspeech.ocm) under the material exchange...there is a heading for categories with lots of fun things to do...and the materials are free!!!
