I have 5 year old kiddo on my caseload who has had a significant section of his temporal lobe removed. He is cognitively delayed as well. He has some nice rote/foundational skills, but seems to have difficulty with word retrival, formulating thoughts and his speech is often unintelligible to an unfamiliar listener or if a comment is out of context. Does anyone have any suggestions for goals? Or does anyone have a good resource for writing these kind of goals?
