Hi Everyone
I am an SLP in the K-12 school system and I have a little boy in Kindergarten who does not speak in school. Apparantly he speaks at home and sometimes with other children while in school (rarely), but he will not speak with adults in school. I have never worked with a child like this before and am at a loss as to what to do. Should I involve other professionals (i.e. Ed. Psych)? Has anyone worked with this population before and if so, any ideas on intervention would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much.
