I am working on categories with my students. I am wondering how different therapists go about teaching categories. Do you first work on sorting items into categories like frutis vegetable, desserts? For example showing a picture and asking where does this belong? and then do you have them name 5 items that belong to the vegetable category. Or do you first show them items that belong in the fruit category and then items that belong in vegetable category without having them sort?
