I work w/ 5/6 graders. We did analogies this week and they all seemed NOT to get it. Is it me? I gave examples and it was multiple choice (worksheet) but they could not give me the relationships or understand that the relationship needs to be the same between each set of words.
How do you work on analogies? Any tips/fun things to do with them? Most of them seemed to have never been exposed to these before, at least that is what they told me.
