I've had success with having the kid start with an "airy" th sound and once she can do that, then have her pull her tongue behind her teeth, while still thinking about making the "airy" sound.
For "sh", "ch", and "j", I've had a couple other kids that I had to teach to say /s/ and 'ya' together while rounding their lips. e.g. syip (with lips rounded) for ship. Then you can have them put the /t/ and 'ya' together for the "ch" sound and /d/ and 'ya' together for the "j" sound.
Pam Marshalla (sp) has a book out for correcting a lateral lisp.
Good luck!
