I am using these for the first time this year -- Matt and Molly stories, they are published by linguisystems. They help teach vocabulary, concepts, sequencing. My kids love them, and it is ridiculous how much fun they have acting out the stories. They work cooperatively, assign jobs, "Okay Mrs. Paxton, you be Molly and we'll be Matt," practice the concepts... On days when we are not working on Matt and Molly stories, they often choose as their reinforcer to act out the last story they did.
