I do push in with my 5th graders; mostly high functioning ELL/LD/SLI kids. I am trying to work more with the curriculum and their lesson vocabulary words and lessons (e.g., fact vs. opinion) ect.
I just feel i'm spending time focusing on the fact vs. opinion and not the vocab words even if it's integrated into the lesson.
I'm just curious as to how other people do theirs.
I've purchased Judy Montgomery's Bridge to Vocab. which I think will help.
