Hi,
I am a new speech teacher, and most of my caseload (k-5) is language (receptive and expressive). The goals from the previous year are pretty general (sequencing, "wh" questions, following directions).
These goals don't give me a good idea about where I need to focus. I cannot test these children bc we only have 30 min per child and my case load is around 45.
I have a few different language books, which discuss working on (prepositions, comparing and contrasting, homonyms, "wh" questions" etc...)
My question is where do I start if the child needs all of these concepts? There doesn't seem to be a hierarchy or rule like fluency does.
