Hello all,
I have a 3 year old client with articulation and phonological errors. One of the areas I want to target is syllable reduction. For most 2 syllable words, she deletes the weak syllable. I am trying to figure out some goals to work on for her relating to this skill and am having some difficulty on which direction to go. My ideas are to start with a discrimination task (1 syllable vs 2 syllable words (e.g.: ma vs mama, two vs tutu, etc) or to just jump into saying CVCV words after a model. Any suggestions? Thanks!
