Remember to keep it interesting and relevant. Just because the middle and high school population are more able to read longer passages doesn't mean that they will want to! I find that reading comprehension using newspapers, gaming magazines, etc. keep their interest. Many on this site seem to have great luck w/ news-to-you but I haven't purchased it yet. Use the classroom curriculum to keep therapy relevant and maximize crossover. Practice compensatory strategies!
