In our parish, several slp's have gotten together and made powerpoint pictures of the weekly vocabulary words. These powerpoints can also be converted to pocket mods which are printed and made into small booklets for the students to take home and not only study their vocabulary words but have a picture to remind them of their meaning. It is very helpful, not only for our students but for children in the regular classroom who are not on our caseload and are struggling. I find that using the words from their weekly stories helps language arts grade as well.
