I have been asked to informally assess the inferencing skills of a 5 year old without use of an assessment like the ACE 6-11. Any ideas on resources or the kinds of inferencing I should assess (i.e. relationships between words vs. stories with partial information.....)? Does anyone know a link where I can find the norms for higher level language skills?
