Hi there - I have a question for you. I am a licensed Speech Language Pathologist with over 13 yrs experience working with children with special needs- preschool, youngsters, and children with Autism, primarily the focus. I am in the process of beginning my own consultation company for parents/therapists of speech/language delayed children- the company will focus on the following:
consultation speech/language services
webinars(computer seminars) for parents/ therapists to gain more info on topics
newsletters on various speech/language topics
bi-weekly chat on various speech disorders as an opportunity for therapists/parents to share ideas
opportunity for therapist questions regarding their child
opportunity for consultation regarding the child;s speech/language needs
opportunity to purchase speech/language books at a discount
these are just a few of the services that will be offered- all services will be convenient to therapist and will involve only phone and computer contact. Fees will be determined.
my question is is I am looking to expand services and see what therapists need- do these services seem of interest and also are there any other services that would be of interest- **note my company will not be providing direct speech/language services to children- the consultative model and therapist/parent support is the emphasis- thank you therapists for your feedback- it means very much to me!!!
