I like the speech lending library idea...for a summer speech activity this year, I gave each student a highlighting marker (purchased on sale at an office supply store) and a xeroxed page from a book with the student's sound highlighted. Also enclosed in the envelope was a note to the parents explaining that their child was to highlight their sound on a page in a book that they owned. Each page was then to be read to the parent. I suggested once a week would be good practice to maintain and possibly improve sound skills.
