900 per semester seems like a lot to me. For an 18 week semester, that would be 50 minutes per week, right? Most of my students are scheduled for two 25 min. sessions per week, so 900 min. per semester would be a maximum for me. There's no way I'd actually be able to make that for most of my students when I take into account my occasional sick day, student sick days, snow days, Christmas break, field trips, assemblies, state assessments, etc., etc.! For me, 900 min. per semester would be completely unrealistic. We have been told by our ISD to put a somewhat lower amount on the IEP to account for those days. We write our minutes per month and for many students I put 120-160 per month.
