I have had success with the Cheerio tongue tip exercise as well to illicit a /k/ sound. However the child I am working with now cannot carry the sound over to syllables. Any suggestions on how to succeed with this step - nothing seems to have worked...he says /k/ in isolation quite well..but as soon as we try syllables, he reverts to /t/.
