You can begin with the 't' sound. Feel the tongue tip go up on the rocky road as you make the sound. Sit in front of a mirror, show him how you make 't'. Have him imitate. Try to move from "t" to "ch". It may work. Usually voiceless comes before voiced, so you may get ch before j. Once you get "ch' and the child can say it in the beg. and end of words, you can usually get 'j' fairly easily. Are there earlier developing sounds you could work on? I don't think these sounds are terribly appropriate for a 4 year old.
