Thank you for your thoughts. This child is the son of a very good friend and his speech is still in tack. I am worried about pragmatics with him and the behavior is a big issue. Right now I am advocating for him. His first IEP was at the age of 4 and the school placed him under Emotionally Impaired. He is now 8 and I have been working with his parents to get this changed to Otherwise Health Impaired. His school just wants to send him to another district's EI program. As a professional that works hard everyday to help provide appropriate programing for every one of my students I just can't even understand the staff at this child's school.
I also want to thank you for the information you sent me last year for your /r/ program. It has really helped. I love seeing how many people are asking about the program and the one that asked who Dawn is. Thanks for sharing with all of us.
