Dawn - I sincerely sympathize with any child who has difficulty with an /r/ or /s/, but I strongly feel that the school should not provide therapy unless the speech errors negatively impact their ability to achieve academic success. Why should the school provide therapy if it doesn't impact their ability to learn? Schools are in the business of education, and speech therapy is provided when articulation, etc. prevents a child from learning.
