Have you tried telling her to make the "be quiet" sound? When I have students who have trouble saying the /sh/ sound I ask them what is another way their teacher tells them to be quiet. Usually, they will say /sh/ without even thinking about it!!
Then I go into the mechanics of explaining to them "how" to say the "be quiet" sound. Do you have the book by Wayne A. Secord,"Eliciting Sounds, Techniques and Strategies for Clinicians?" It's a really neat book that give steps on the mechanics of explaining "how" to make correct artic sounds. Look at page 59 in Mr. Secord's book and it explains how to make the /sh/ sound. Good luck.
