He may have difficulty with expressive language, but I don't think that's enough info. to make a judgment. How does he do in conversation? How about talking about topics he's interested in and knows about? Can he retell a story he's very familiar with, does it have continuity and make sense? Is he in kindergarten or preschool? Does he teacher have concerns?
